The First International Virtual Outdoor Hospitality Expo from MCPS for Campgrounds

Website
On November 1-3 of this year, Campground Expositions with Producers Art Lieberman and Deanne Bower will be producing the first outdoor hospitality event that can be attended via computers.

Not unlike a live convention, the Expo will have a Registration Area, several aisles of exhibits in the Exhibit Hall, a Conference center for Webinars, a Press Room and a Lounge for socializing.

The Expo will have many associations and exhibitors representing industries, both domestic and international that supply campgrounds, marinas, golf resorts, dude ranches and other outdoor facilities with goods and services. Exhibitors will have the advantage of not having to ship their goods, spend money on travel or hotels, pay drayage, electricity or Wi-Fi costs or pay any other expenses usually associated with a “live” convention.

The Expo will feature speakers from various industries in the Conference Center and will host “Open Forums” designed to bring attendees into discussions with the experts in various fields. There will be eighteen webinars with a wide variety of topics.

The Expo will be drawing attendees from many of the outdoor hospitality businesses. Attendees may bring as many guests to the event since attendance is Free.

Since costs to exhibitors are inexpensive, many exhibitors will be offering “show specials” and items at reduced costs to attendees. Additionally, there will be drawings for prizes conducted during the hours that the exhibits are open. People who attend the event may speak to exhibitors via live video feeds or chat, talk over the phone, make purchases, review catalogues, view video promotions, download materials, and save e-mail addresses or web pages of exhibitors.

The Virtual Outdoor Hospitality Expo will produce an Expo Directory which attendees may download, print or review. Should they find a booth of interest, they need only click on the exhibitors name to be “transported” to the booth. Needless to say, help will be available to attendees who feel they are lost in the virtual world.

The Expo has been fortunate to acquire the expertise of several individuals representing the crème de la crème of the outdoor hospitality industry as members of the Advisory Board. They include David Gorin, past President of ARVC, Deb Kohls of Leisure Interactive, Peter Pelland owner of Pelland Advertising, Jim Ganley of Checkbox Systems, Chris Hipple of Leavitt Recreation and Tom Chiarello of AGS.

The Expo will run “Live” for the 3 days, from 12 noon to 6:00 PM Eastern Time – but the expo can also be viewed in “standby mode” for 90 days after the November dates.

Exhibitor booth registration and purchase is available on the Expo’s website www.outdoorhospitalityexpo.com . Show registration for Attendees will begin in early fall and, after acquiring a registration name and password, registrants may enter the Expo as often as they desire at no cost.

Producers of the Expo can be contacted at 877-901-EXPO (3976) or by fax at 866-605-1388.
